Research Funding and Incentive Mechanisms

AiB provides a new decentralized research funding and rewarding mechanism for scientists, who often spend a lot of time applying for funding in the traditional scientific funding model, and the funding approval process is lengthy and not transparent enough:

• Community funding proposal: Scientists can initiate a research funding proposal on the platform, including project objectives, budget requirements and potential impact, and the community coin holders will vote on the funding direction.

• Smart Contract Funding Management: Funding is distributed through smart contracts to ensure that funds are released according to milestones, improving efficiency and transparency.

• Data Sharing Incentive: Scientists and research organizations can get $AiB incentive based on the amount of data used and contribution after sharing data on the platform.

Application Case:

A global genomics research project raised $100,000 AiB through the AiB platform, and upon completion of the project, the research results were publicly stored on the chain, allowing community researchers and companies to directly access the data.

A bio-informatician received a research grant for sharing algorithmic code that was highly voted for by the community, and used the funds to develop the next generation of genetic analysis tools.
